Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974, Aviano Italy American actress. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was lived in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest of seven children. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. Adams began performing and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and then The Country Dinner Playhouse. Following her move to Minnesota, she starred in the mock-documentary film Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. The film's debut on screen was a bright-eyed but sweet contestant. After that she moved to Los Angeles in order to explore a career as an actor. From June 1951 until September 22, 1962 she was engaged with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began following the signing of an MGM deal in the middle of 1940s. Her work was noticed by actress Norma Shearer. She appeared in a range of films that became popular over the following decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954), starring Martin Lewis.
