Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the eldest of four children. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor as well as a teacher at school were supportive and encouraged by her early love for drama as well as theatre. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was eclipsed by her wish to pursue a degree in theater and drama. There was an immediate rise in her career to become a famous young actor. In 1998, after completing her studies, she was able to take part in Jeunes Premiers an French show on TV that is a talent-scouting initiative, which is which was run by Canal+. There she was awarded the prize for the Best Young Actress in Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to begin her acting profession. Tautou was born into an Catholic family and attended church, even though she went to school at school at the Institut Catholique de Paris. In addition to her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Photography is another passion and she recently exhibited her work at the Arles festival with the name Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and the spotlight. The camera is turned on journalists who examined her as she rose to the heights of fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big performance in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a the box office and was recognized at award ceremonies across the globe. It is currently the most successful French film of the French language on the market in US. In the years following the film, she appeared in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
