Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the telefilm Nightingales as well as the short-lived NBC show with the same name; Erica Paget in Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Swanson is from California. Her early years were marked by an interest in acting. She started her career working in the field of advertising, appearing in a variety of commercials. In 1984, she made her debut in a screen show of NBC's sitcom It's Your Turn. Her debut was on the large screen two years later in the romance comedy Pretty in Pink. Swan is well-known for her gorgeous blonde voice as well as her breathless hairlisp and breathless voice. But in recent times she has started to play the role of a side character. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
